Favorite Stamps

I don’t collect stamps, but I like my cards to have beautiful stamps. In my post office they normally sell just one or two different designs, so outgoing mail has always the same stamps. As my postcards get much more exposure that stamps, I decided to show you some beautiful stamps I have received! Two of my all time favorite so far: And my other favorites:   Do you collect stamps? Do you have a favorite stamp?

The Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg consists of the extended family of the sovereign Grand Duke. The current royal family of Luxembourg consists of the reigning grand duke, Henri, his wife Maria Teresa, their children: Guillaume, Félix, Louis, Alexandra and Sébastien, and Grand Duke Jean, the father of the reigning grand duke, who abdicated in 2000 and still holds the title of Grand Duke. The family is completed by Princess Tessy, the wife of Prince Louis, and their two sons: Princes Gabriel and Noah. Although Prince Louis and his family are not in the line of succession, they still participate in official events. ( source ) Thank you Anne!

The current flag of the U.S. state of Georgia was adopted on May 8, 2003. It has three red and white stripes and the state coat of arms on a blue field in the upper left corner. Thirteen stars surrounding the seal denotes Georgia's position as one of the original thirteen colonies. On the seal three pillars supporting an arch represent the three branches of government; legislative, judicial and executive. A man with sword drawn is defending the Constitution, whose principles are wisdom, justice and moderation. The date 1776 represents the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Australian Antarctic Territory ( AAT ) is a part of Antarctica. It was claimed by the United Kingdom and placed under the authority of the Commonwealth of Australia in 1933. It is the largest territory of Antarctica claimed by any nation. Since the Antarctic Treaty came into force in 1961, Article 4 of which states "The treaty does not recognize, dispute, nor establish territorial sovereignty claims; no new claims shall be asserted while the treaty is in force", most countries do not recognize territorial claims in Antarctica.
