Private Swap - Macau
A new territory for my collection!!
Macau is, along with Hong Kong, one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China.
The territory's economy is heavily dependent on gambling and tourism but also includes manufacturing. Macau was a Portuguese colony and both the first and last European colony in China. According to The World Fact book, Macau has the second highest life expectancy in the world. (source)
Rua do Cunha is a narrow pedestrian street in Vila da Taipa. It is known for shops selling almond cakes, phoenix egg rolls, coconut flakes, cherikoff and peanut candy, which travellers buy as "souvenirs". It is also known for the various Portuguese restaurants. (source)
